Took a motorhome road trip to central California. Have yet to install the necessary equipment to flat tow the Maverick, so the wife followed me in the Mav. Along the way, I see a Santa Cruz hovering around our little convoy, with both parties checking each other out. I've come to the conclusion the SC would appeal to those who are used to a more "luxurious" interior and wanted a Hyundai car with a bed attached. I wanted a truck, so the Maverick fits perfectly.

I live in Western N.C. which is home to a huge truck population and half the population of Fla in the summer. I may have been the 1st with a Mav in WNC since I placed my order at first opportunity. Had mine for about a month now. Saw another 2 weeks ago and another last week. Bye y,all.

Just saw my 1st 1 on rural mountain road leading in to town as was coming back from camping 2 days ago. Funny thing is it was Cyber Orange and our 1 and only local Ford dealer had a customer order Cyber Orange Mav sitting on their lot a couple weeks ago waiting for pick up. I'm pretty sure it was the same 1...

I have seen five here in southeast Wisconsin, 4 XLT and one LX work truck. I've had people comment at gas stations and big box stores. I seem to get a lot of interest from Ram pickup guys, they want to race me, its actually annoying. The thing that recently bummed me was when pulling into BK for a burger a guy backed out of a spot with my exact truck right down to the mud guards! I'm like, what are the odds...
I have 1500 miles and am just getting comfortable with it and I am really enjoying this vehicle. Super nice to drive and solid. The turbo 4 hauls ass, the AWD and independent suspension is a smooth ride, handles sweet, east to park, big inside, B&O audio is killer, average combined mpg of 28. This truck is what i had hoped it would be. And like my 2 previous lease cars (KIA Optimas) I haven't hauled a damn thing in it except for me and the misses. However it is way more practical than the cars were. The capability is really great.

Today, I hit the 1,000 mile mark AND I saw my twin Maverick at the Costco business center. Velocity blue XL. He got the rollup cover but no bed liner and I skipped the cover and went with the bed line. That was the only difference. Kind of like one twin having a mole on their cheek and the other one having a birthmark on their arm or something.

Both of us use them as work trucks.

The Costco twins at work .... with the Maverick being used as a work truck. You have to appreciate that. I know that I have seen at least three variants used as rolling billboards while working so they always catch my eye as the rigs show up more and more out in the real world.
Hopefully you both will get good and reliable service out out your XL’s. ✔🇺🇸P

Live in the Des Moines Iowa Area. Have seen one MAVERICK in a dealer showroom about 3 months ago. Have never seen another on the road or anywhere else.

Passed a Velocity Blue on the way to Lowes Friday and we gave the I got mine wave.

That's a good point. What is our acknowledgement to fellow Maverick owners? MG's had a light flash. Maybe a piece sign. The wave seems so mundane.

Overall I bet I’ve seen 50 or so (some might be duplicates) in all colors including the green wrapped one
Probably 5/6 work trucks
Everyone that has been in or around mine thinks it’s the coolest
Once Ford is able/willing to make tons of these they will sell tons of these

We both use them to get supplies for our businesses. And after two and a half months, I'm pleased with my Maverick. It does what I bought it for and does it well.
