Not seeing Mavericks in the wild... why not? How about your community?

Just because we are all eagled eyed and on the lookout, the reality is you'll not see very many Mavericks for several years.

How many Hyundai Velosters have you seen on the road lately? There are 200,000 of them in the US.

How many Honda Elements have you seen? There were almost 350,000 of those sold in the US.

How many Honda Ridgelines? 450,000 sold in the US (new+old).

Our perception of a hot vehicle, and the reality of total production are not equal! For that matter, how many Broncos or Bronco Sports have you seen so far? A handful, if that I'm guessing.

It'll be years before we see the Maverick with any sort of regularity.

Metro Detroit area I see Broncos and Sports by an order of magnitude over Mavericks. It’s mainly because they’ve been around for an additional year.

Saw another one. Cactus grey at the Longhorn in Budd Lake. Drove right by my black one and didn't even blink an eye.

I hadn't seen one in quite awhile, until a few days ago I saw one on westbound I-94, in the St. Clair Shores/Roseville area of metro Detroit. Cactus Gray hybrid. It had a slick graphic on the side of the bed. I couldn't catch the model.

At home I've seen a cyber orange, a carbonized gray, a white fleet vehicle with a ladder rack, an Oxford white, another white fleet with the ladder rack so maybe the second one twice.

On a long trip around Michigan and finally saw my first of the trip north of Saginaw toward Tawas City. Was an iconic silver going south.

That's been it. Still haven't seen a blue or area 51 yet.

Grew up in Sussex County. Long time since I even heard someone say Budd Lake. Is that Western store still around that was between Budd Lake and Netcong. Bought a cowboy hat there in the mid 90s and I still wear it hiking and it is still in good shape.

So we live in a mid sized city in a populous state with 5 Ford dealers within 30 miles of each other but I have only seen 7 actual rigs and only at the dealers.
Today I spotted this fresh off the truck Hybrid Lariat at a dealer awaiting its prep time... first eyes on a Lariat and hybrid for me personally. Never have seen a truck out on the road. I have seen and touched an XL, XLT, AWD and now this white Lariat. Like I said 7 total in the mix.
I am a car/truck guy and can spot vehicles way off........ just not seeing many yet. I know they are being built and sold but it’s odd for me not to see someone out showing their new truck off
I feel deprived...., yet hopeful when deliveries ramp up.

I found one today, my first, at th Costco parking lot. A white 2.0 XLT that he got no waiting off the lot for $500 over MSRP. A cancellation. He loves it and says people come to him over 5 times a day asking about it. I'm outside of Chicago and this was my first in the wild.

We saw three Mavericks on a car carrier today on I80 heading East around Williamsburg Iowa and one in the grocery store parking lot today. . . we take that as a sign. . . next Thursday for sure!

On a 2,200-mile trip through 5 states, I saw 2 velocity blue in Kentucky. I did see 3 Rivian's on a car carrier.

I live in Henry County Tennessee . I have Farm Bureau Insurance went last week to payment 4 my Jeep & Silverado. I asked how much my insurance would be on my Maverick my agent sad what's a Maverick LOL he then told me he does not have a single Maverick in the whole County insured ?? Two other agents that were overhearing the conversation stated that they knew people that had canceled their orders because of the long wait not sure if I will be the first but the Maverick surely is a very rare breed and the Unicorn.

I see them very rarely. There was actually one at the dealership that was the same build and color as mine when I first got to look at it. They had a couple others as well. Haven’t seen them around yet.

To add insult to injury, I saw a Santa Cruz this morning, still no Maverick. I know they're being built, and I know they're being sold. They can't all be in the shop, there has to be some reason people aren't out driving them. The Broncos do have a year head start, but the redesigned Frontier doesn't, and I see those every day.

I see them everywhere I go here in metro detroit. I see at least two a day if not more.

The Maverick is a perfect truck for big city use. Easy to maneuver, great city mileage, and a bed that can accommodate most anything you would need urban-wise. It's no wonder you're seeing them!
