If you bought those L-track rails off-the-shelf and like them, you should post the vendor link. I did mine the olde-fashioned way (Imagine John Houseman in the 1980's Smith Barney commercial) and had to locate, drill, and countersink each hole. In the end, I really like the simplicity of L-track anchors, so if a prefab kit will work, I like it.
BTW, on that Harbor Freight ratcheting cargo bar, I got one of those too. I think I will add a spring to one end so they don't require the bed to flex under load. Up in the front where the sides are attached to the cab, the truck is too rigid to flex, and the bar may not be able to generate the proper amount of tension to stay in place.

Not "L" track, these are VersaTie track for Mac's Custom Tie-downs.

They're mentioned in several other threads.

Here's a photo of the industry-standard L-Track I used with a couple of the more common anchors. We may disagree on the name, but I think we'll be happy to agree that Mac's VersaTie is "compatible" with L-track, a good thing for all. You made a good choice.

Were these washers located just where the mounting screws go, or a long strip that’s the full length of the rails?
FYI unistrut washers are thick and very flat And uniform. Available Lowe's and home depot.

What ended up being the hardware used ? M8? , m6, length ?
M8 screws. I used the ones that came with the rails, not sure of the length.

I prefer these rather than the rails.
