Hey there Ryan, as the owner of two previous sets, I look forward to seeing these in action and if up to expectations, I will definitely be onboard to take a chance on these!
Had a Rhino-Liner applied the week after I got my truck in May. As long as it is warm(ish) 24 - 48 hours and you'll be good for anything.
Of course you'll need to post obligatory pictures when it's done! ;)
Yeah, I've read some of the other threads on the issue. It was more of a "got me now" post. No issue this morning when I left for work (yesterday's round trip was 60 miles). Thanks!
I had installed a driverās side bed cubby last month and received the same pair of locks as in your pictures. Very minor filing needed for a good fit. The whole process took maybe 30 minutes.
A nice little upgrade for a reasonable amount of money and time.
I (mostly) installed mine on August 29th - the day it arrived. I say mostly because I canāt get the the two center clamps at the back of the hood to stay engaged long enough to tighten everything up! Left feedback at Amazon regarding the same thing.
what is the trick to getting those oval...
@Deweyordeweynot - Were you able to get the two center clips at the bottom of the hood anchored securely? I canāt get the oblong metal pieces to stay 90° to the slot.
Any suggestions?
We took a trip from York County, PA to Gatlinburg and back.
- Great gas hybrid mileage (down & back on slightly more than 1.5 tanks of gas).
- Held everything 3 people took (luggage, cooler, tote box for anything we didn't want to get even damp in case of rain) and a little more on the way back...
I notice it slightly more than I originally did (maybe I'm becoming a bit more attuned to it). Also if the battery to ICE transition occurs during a somewhat abrupt level/downhill transition to uphill at highway speeds in cruise control it's more noticeable. ICE to electric is barely noticeable...
I think someone else asked the question. I placed mine around the sides to snug up the fit. Slid in with just the right amount of resistance. This and the radio surround really spiffied up the dashboard.
