Non-FX4 Tow Hooks for XL??

I've got a XL AWD with 4k. Looking to see if the blanks on the front are easily removed to install aftermarket tow hooks? I can't seem to find any info on this anywhere?

There are no 'blanks'. You would have to actually cut those out or swap lower valence. Although the bigger issue is that the tow hooks on the FX4 bolt into brackets welded to the front subframe that simply aren't present on trucks manufactured without the package.

Ford #ucked this up and made the sub-frame slightly different on the FX4. I ranted about this to no end a few months back.

Oh wow, that's a real bummer. Oh well, maybe some aftermarket fog lights will be in the cards then. Thanks for all replies.

You need to remove the whole bumper and the grill to s this. This is a real job
