Maybe. He needs to check the part numbers on repair order.
Absolutely, I agree with you
I don't think Motorcraft makes a 0w20 blended synthetic anymore.
Even though they show it on O'Reilly's & AutoZone website's.
I think it's been replaced by the full synthetic.
As far as I can find. Motorcraft 0w20 synthetic blend motor oil was no longer being manufactured by late 2019 early 2020.

Yep. My dealer here wanted to put semi-synthetic in my hybrid and argued with me about it.
Finally, agreed to put the proper spec oil but left a sarcastic note on the work order “per customer preference”.
I cannot believe that ford dealers don’t know what oil to put in their own vehicles.
My last vehicle was a Toyota and coming to ford has not been very good.

Why is the OP text missing? And the thread title changed to "NO"? If the OP discovered their thread was wrong PLEASE tell us that. Many bashing the dealers on this forum based on "reported" bad work or service yet little updates when it is corrected.
No I do not work for Ford or a dealer and never have. But I did deal with customers, who paid many times more for equipment than a Maverick, who would email, call with complaints that when they learned THEY were mistaken never apologized or corrected the complaint.
Yes! It just disappeared. I was following it then ‘poof’, gone! Then it shows up under “NO”. 🤔

WHAT IS UP WITH THIS DUDE? If you discovered you were wrong please update the forum and this post.
I agree.

Maybe the OP found out that the tech put in the correct full syn oil but someone else billed the wrong oil out on the work order. That's what happen to me at my last oil change.

They always let me know it’s full synthetic here at Chalmers Ford.
I almost bought at that dealership, didn't care for the sales team, obnoxiously questioning "where I got the money" when I said I wouldn't be financing. Ended up flying to Denver instead and got everything I wanted!

Fun Fact... There is no industry or government standard that prescribes how much synthetic oil should be in a synthetic blend. Could be 1, 5 or 99%. No one knows, no parts counter can tell you and no company advertises their blend with the exception of Schaffers.
