No guidelines shown on reverse camera

Anybody have this problem? I have no guidelines shown on the reverse camera. I have checked all the settings indicated in the owner's manual. My Maverick is a 2024 XLT with only a towing receiver for an option. Are the guidelines only included with some other option package? The manual is not specific as to which items are not included. My truck has a 6/6/24 build date, I bought it in mid July, I have just a little over 1,000 miles on it so I am still learning the controls

Are the + or - symbols showing on the reverse screen? If it shows - then it is zoomed in and will not show the lines.

The lines are for all trims, it should be available. I know people had issues if the system wasn't taken out of some kind of demo mode by the dealer, but I haven't heard of it being a common issue.

I have the plus and minus and those work if you touch them. A demo mode? That's more than I knew this morning. Thanks, I will check that out and see if that's the problem.

Do you have an accessory plugged into the trailer plug?

my stright lines, including the red one really fade when i turn my wheel and the arc lines show

If I am not mistaken you can turn it off and on in the camera settings

Try looking through this first.

If the above does not work.
Your Maverick is still under warranty. I would take it back to the dealership, before I would start messing around with reprogramming anything. It is Fords responsibility under warranty.

You might have to reset the LIN (Local Interconnect network) using Forscan Lite.

Easy first try is to hold the Power and Forward buttons down together until the display reboots.

You, Sir, are a genius an a true scholar, I don't care what you wife says about you! I had a receiver lighted FORD insert plugged in. I was getting a little tired of the message on the dash telling me the left turn signal on the trailer wasn't working. I unplugged it and the guidelines magically appeared. Thank you so much for your post.
