In a few videos where I have seen the backup camera, I haven't seen the white guidelines that help to guide your angled approach (like our 2017 Explorer has)

The source where I pulled my concern from:

You can see an example of the white lines here in Ford's Video on backup cameras help guide:

Does anyone have a modern ford (like an Escape) that doesn't have the white lines? I ask because I actually find them very useful

I’m sure they’re there. That’s one small detail almost every new vehicle has as part of the backup camera system.

We’ll just have to wait until the driving videos.

Actually, in a lot of Ford's competitors, I have seen in my rental cars that the angled lines are not a feature. Just those straight backup lines. I really hope ford includes the angled lines too and that these videos/images are just bad production errors in the video editing

My 2019 ranger has soft white guide lines and retains the straight line green/yellow/red structure as well. I like it a lot (agreed, many cars don't have it that great). Hopefully the maverick is the same as my ranger!

None of us have the white lines until we turn the wheel. They're hidden under the fixed lines, as they should be. That car's wheel is level, so likely pointing straight ahead.

That's true, but in some of the videos, they are clearly turning at an angle and there are no lines.

I wouldn't be surprised if some manufacturers take out those guidelines. Less liability for those who use the "I followed the lines, it's Ford's fault that I totaled that car next to me". lol

Both of our non fords have them, in at least 1 it's user selectable.

I have them in my Mustang (2016):

Since its also a Sync 3 system, I assume those with the Sync 3 in the Maverick should have the lines at the very least, but hopefully all of them have them.
