What more can they do to update? They tell you when key steps are completed. What problems are they creating?why they are messing with the tracker.....they should work on keeping it updated, not creating more problems...smh

Ford sent me an email that my truck was being built then that it had shipped a few days later. It takes about 10 days to three weeks for the dealership to actually get the truck and detail it. I got mine with 5 miles on the odometer so I know it wasn't used for test driving. Most good dealerships are pretty fair about not using a special order vehicle for test drives. I know they had some folks look at it but that was all..Im suspicious that my truck is already at the detailer ship now that the tracking moved on from "shipped" to "final preparation" It would make sense if it was delivered and they were finishing up final specs like spray in liner but I didn't get anything that would need that. maybe a spare tire?![]()
I think I have this figured out : ) My interpretation of this image is Your truck has indeed shipped, maybe has transferred from rail to truck. When there is a check mark in the Shipped circle it is at the dealer, and then the Final Prep will be a blue and white bulls eye and get a check after the dealer has done cleaning it up, and installed any dealer options.Came here because mine was switched to "final preperation" today as well. Glad to see I'm not the only one. Mine was originally scheduled for March 16th. Really hoping to see it in the next week or so, but the guy who said his got pushed back to June kinda scares me.![]()
I will sure be happy if you're right. Fingers crossedI think I have this figured out : ) My interpretation of this image is Your truck has indeed shipped, maybe has transferred from rail to truck. Are you joking, or have you been doing any reading on the subject? There are people that got a call from their dealer that the vehicle was there and ready, yet the tracking still showed in production...or built...or shipped, but NOT deliveredWhat more can they do to update? final prep for me was my salesman saying it got delivered and was in the service department and getting detailed. i would call to find out.Im suspicious that my truck is already at the detailer ship now that the tracking moved on from "shipped" to "final preparation" It would make sense if it was delivered and they were finishing up final specs like spray in liner but I didn't get anything that would need that. maybe a spare tire?![]()
I believe this is correct, mine was in the railyard about 125 miles away 2 weeks ago, my original delivery was between Feb24-March2, Monday my salesman called to say it was changed to March5, & the delivery date disappeared from the tracker, today it has changed to final prep, which would be getting it from the railcar to the dealer & then the dealer has to 'final prep' which would be cleaning after it's rail journey, installing front license plate holder (Wis) & removing all the plastic wrap from the inside & putting fuel in it. I am expecting the call between Thursday & Saturday to tell me it has arrived! I am glad I am not the only one who has their VIN memorized, I don't even have my DL# memorized!I think I have this figured out : ) My interpretation of this image is Your truck has indeed shipped, maybe has transferred from rail to truck. What was your tracker showing before you heard is at dealer? ThanksSo I got this same change to my order tracking, but I just got the call that my truck is at my dealership right now. I can pick it up tomorrow afternoon. Funny enough order tracking is not working for me at the moment but I can't wait to get the truck on Thursday.
