New Step in Tracking?

I find it scary that some programmer changed the site and nobody in the IT department did a final check before posting this crap. A second grader could place a circle on a line. I guess it takes preperation.

Contacted my dealer today about the Final Prep step. It had an original delivery date of March 1st through the 7th, he stated that it is in a railyard being transferred to a truck as of yesterday so hopefully expecting it within the next couple days! I would remain hopeful if you get the final prep step seems like it means it's at least close by.

This happened to me as well. But funny thing is my dealer called me yesterday out of the blue and said my car is at a shipping yard and awaiting the trucking company to get it and take it to the dealer. They said it’ll be here this week. So I know it’s built and ready to go. Must be something for Ford is adjusting

Im suspicious that my truck is already at the detailer ship now that the tracking moved on from "shipped" to "final preparation" It would make sense if it was delivered and they were finishing up final specs like spray in liner but I didn't get anything that would need that. maybe a spare tire?

Is that similar to preparation?

Mine changed to Final Prep today too. Was showing delivery to VA between March 16-22. Now that is gone.

Mine was built on 2/16 and said it shipped the same day. I called my dealer today and he said it hasn't shown any updates since 2/16.

Mine changed to final prep today as well, mine was built Feb 21 and said delivery March 18-24 to South Carolina.

I asked my dealer for the Vehicle Visibility Reportlast week and that is where it was. I have been calling the CSX tracking everyday since and it says the rail car is still in Chicago.

Just to chime in. Yes , mine has changed as well, now showing final preparation and no more estimated date.
According to CSX railcar is headed to Ga as of today. So, getting closer to Central Florida. I'm guessing Ford is just revamping the tracker.

Final Preperation would mean any dealer installed items like bed lighting and clean up. Since there is no dot inside of the circle it is still in route. I'm in the same boat. Took me a minute knowing something had changed but what...

I now think the "Shipped" label means "Shipped to the Parking Purgatory Lot " and "Final Preparations" means waiting on the last missing chip or modual. I guess the best thing is to wait until your dealer calls and says "Its here!".

I too have my estimated delivery date missing and the revised final step. I called my dealer yesterday and they said they do not see any updates since my truck shipped on 2/17. I guess I just keep waiting.....
