Last night @fordvideoguy clarified about rail car information.
With the old system, Vehicle Visibility, dealers could get rail car information.
Vin View is now used. They can no longer see the rail car information. He believes it's because dealers can now see the actual location.
If you want to check it out, it is the first question in the Q&A section on 4/23/24.
FordVideoGuy says to call your dealer to find out where in transit your truck is.
I don't like to bug the dealer that often so I sign into my ford.com account and use Ford Chat.
I believe you can also call the 800 number on Ford.com as well.
My dealer had actually sent me a screen shot of the vin view page showing the info was not there. That's when I started using the Chat.
Be sure to screen shot any information you want before you end the chat. When they end the chat, the window closes.
Happy tracking all!
