No, around here I'm fine with using A/T oversized tires in snow and ice on front wheel drive for safety and better traction and switching back to a street tire in April. I drive 40k miles per year, many of those in ice and snow, and safety is paramount. Not saying your tires won't work, but these are much better rated and have better tread for our winters in Washington State.
