New rims, tires, bed cover, and roof racks on my XL

Last piece of the upgrades was finally installed: Fuel milled gloss Maverick wheels with Fuel Gripper A/T tires. I just turned over 10,000 miles and haven't reset the MPG guage since I drove it off the lot with 11 miles on it....its sitting right at 44.0 mpg overall after 10k miles. I have a low pro tonneau bed cover and ladder racks I installed last week. It's the perfect truck for my pest control company. I'm loving the look of these wheels and tires on it!

I agree! The rim size is the same, but with wider A/T gripper tires that add maybe 1 inch of height. I plan on lowering it 1-2" and it should handle the PNW rain and snow no problem

Thank you! I sold my stock wheels and tires to my tire guy for cash plus installing and balancing my new wheels.

265/65/R17. I live in Washington so these will be good in snow, rain, and mud. I also bought the stock Ford mudflaps for front and rear tires because these stick out a few inches and wanted to protect my lower panels. They're about $100 for a full set of flaps.

Any rubbing issues

When I'm backing up and I have the wheel completely turned it does rub the splash guard slightly, only on the front tires. I've marked it and am going to modify the splash guards so they don't rub. It's very slight and fixable.

Very interested to know what the new MPG ends up being. The roof rack will likely cost 2-3 mpg (or slightly more if you do a lot of freeway driving) and maybe 1 or 2 for the more agressive tires. Looks cool (and functional) though.

It getst about 40 overall vs the 44 I was getting. I drive a lot of city miles. The tires will be changed next summer to street tires which will get me back to 44 mpg overall. These are my winter tires and I wanted to get them installed before the heavy rain and snow hit.
