Thanks for the info. Might have to call and see if I can get mobile service scheduled to do itUPDATE** 2/16/2026. 2026 AND 2025 Maverick Hybrid brake recall now available.
I just got an updated mailing from Ford saying that the software update is now available for my 2025 - I have scheduled a mobile appointment for next Monday 3/09 and will advise accordingly. @Little boy blue and @ListedGuru ....FYI fellas.@ListedGuru and @Little boy blue FYI- stopped at dealership and was advised that while he did do an update - the recall one over the parking system was NOT done since the only software update currently applies to 2026 model, the recall software update for 2025 models is not out yet and they will notify me when it is time and will return to complete the task in my driveway. Still satisfied with their service and will report back when it is completed.
Appreciate the info and hopefully these recalls slow down for us for awhileI just got an updated mailing from Ford saying that the software update is now available for my 2025 - I have scheduled a mobile appointment for next Monday 3/09 and will advise accordingly. @Little boy blue and @ListedGuru ....FYI fellas.

I just had this recall done via mobile service and it was great! It took about 25 minutes & they topped off my tire air & washer fluid and did a multi point check. All good. Now for the strange and unusual!I am having my local Ford dealer do a mobile service tomorrow to update the software - I will advise as to the results. First time using mobile service.
Eh - updated wiped out some records for getting a feel for future miles based on past.I just had this recall done via mobile service and it was great! It took about 25 minutes & they topped off my tire air & washer fluid and did a multi point check. All good. Now for the strange and unusual!
When I parked it last nite (sunday) "miles to go" indicated about 150 miles. This morning (monday) after the recall software update "miles to go" indicates 78 miles! WTF! Then as I drive to pickup my Grandson from school it slowly increases to 79, 80 & eventually when I arrive back home, "miles to go" indicates 82! That's wild.
Yeah it took 11.010 gallons at the pump today.Eh - updated wiped out some records for getting a feel for future miles based on past.
It'll keep going up probably.
I'm curious though - would the 78 miles fit in with the stated MPG avg and how much fuel you had left?
Like maybe around 2 gal, or almost empty on the gauge?
Wondering if they resorted to a default mpg.
Same thing basically happened on my OLM after an oil change reset and the next 100 miles was 98% highway. It estimated 5500 miles to next change. Now with more city and EV miles it's stretching back to expected.
The mobile service tech arrived promptly - I had positioned the Maverick in the driveway for them to easily get to it. He pops the hood, hooks a set of cables to the jump points under the hood (standard procedure for mobile computer updates he says) then gets out a laptop and plugs it into the OBD port under the dash....20 minutes later, he tells me that he is all set, disconnects the computer and cables, closes the hood and away he goes....I am 100% satisfied. @ListedGuru and @Little boy blue FYI fellas...as easy as it gets....I just got an updated mailing from Ford saying that the software update is now available for my 2025 - I have scheduled a mobile appointment for next Monday 3/09 and will advise accordingly. @Little boy blue and @ListedGuru ....FYI fellas.
