To be fair, Toyota is just outright replacing the affected engines, rather than waiting for the failures to affect customer. It’s not the problems you have, it’s how you deal with them that makes a differenc.
Yeah, and the new engines are failing too, some as soon as 10k miles, so...

I did a lot of research on the EB maverick. I have found that many other ICE engines if installed in the maverick it would be getting (city of 26-32 MPG) and (Highway around 34-40 mpg @ 75 MPH). I bought the hybrid were I get 55MPG city summer and 40MPG city winter. Highway at 75 MPH runs 33 MPG driving west and 40 MPG going east (Cincinnati to Denver, then back). Temperature has little effect on highway MPGs. GET the OPTIONAL BLOCK HEATER when YOU ORDER.

So one person, then covered by 100 copy cat channels. Got it.
🤷‍♂️ you do you buddy. All Im saying is that Toyota is not the reliable brand it used to be. And no, this is not the only report on this issue with the my25 and recalled engines for Tundras.

A few nights ago there was someone with a 2024 Toyota that failed and Toyota would only rebuild it and not replace it with a new engine. They said it was not included in the recall/replacement time frame. Had a friend from down the street had his fail he waited 8 weeks for a replacement engine and drove it to a Jeep dealership and traded it in. Not that Jeep with the V-6 is that great.
