New quality hold

Just heard from my salesman about my undelivered truck, on Day 19 in the train yard north of town.

It seems that there's a new quality hold preventing delivery to dealers.

Ugh, not to read the tea leaves, but the only thing I could think of that would quality hold it at the destination train yard would be shipping damage. Hopefully that's not the case and one of our resident dealers could chime in and say this is normal. @KevCuRaoi @fordvideoguy

It sounds wider to my salesman; I don't think it's the only one held. He guesses that it's relate to the 2024 recall mess, but this is a lariat.

FWIW, it's a velocity blue hybrid w/ 4k & moonroof.

You are most likely correct. If it's held at the train yard, it is most likely some damage.
Or a dead 12V battery. We had a vehicles sit for 4 months once because no one in the yard would jump start it!

It's hard to dealers to get information when it's held in the yard like that. If the dealer can see in VINView which transportation company the vehicle is assigned to, they might be able to get some info from that company. Talking to some of the transport drivers is usually our best source of information!

Mine took a month to arrive at dealership after tracker showed "shipped". FYI I am 10 miles from the border.

Dealer now says that all Maverick deliveries from train yard are currently halted to it.

Seems like these Mavericks had to have a sync 4 update done on them to iron out a center screen issue that was missed at production. This is what I have heard.

yes perhaps some kind of hail damage on all vehicles - did you have any weather recently ? they have to disclose if there was damage
