I’m with you. And I’ll never daily a black car again. Been there, done that. It sucks.
And, if I get the urge to drive a black car, I’ll wait until a nice day and grab this out of the garage.

Lots of FORD history to the baby blue and white package, so I think a white vinyl wrap to the roof panel, and white wheels would be a great option for the Mav community. I also like how the outline on the air dam looks on this one, and white accents there and the grill might really pop too.

I thought somebody showed a mock-up of white wheels on this color and it was very nice (but I can’t find it and baby blue isn’t in The Tirerack viewer site yet.) :sunglasses::thumbsup:

It was in the other thread where all the insecure guys were spewing junior-high jokes about manhood...

Morons aside, nostalgic paint schemes always have a market, even if limited compared to the main choices - just makes them more unique and appealing for some. They are selling a heck of a lot of Broncos with retro paint schemes right now, including multiple choices with variants of the white top and stripes.

I always felt one shortcoming to the Maverick was the limited interior colour choices - unless you got a premium trim like the Lobo or Tremor. Personally, I just couldn't stand the basic blue interior on a red or green truck and ruled out several options on the lot because of it. Just didn't compliment in any way. I'm pretty happy with the dark navy in the blackout package on mine, but the light blue would actually be a solid choice for that stock interior.

Have had the truck for almost two weeks now and have to say, aside from my Marauder (or the Country Squire I used to own), the baby blue Mav gets more comments and curious questions than any other vehicle I've ever owned. Most comments are overwhelmingly positive, and most questions start with "how do you like it?" and then go straight to "how's the gas mileage?"

Speaking of mileage, most of my driving is around the city/burbs so I'm routinely 40-50+. I maxed out the 'this trip' display at 99.9mpg on a 1.3 mile beer run. :D Yesterday, I finally topped off the tank after over 500 miles of driving, which seems really remarkable.

Lastly, someone turned me on to a used set of Good-Win lowering springs through a Facebook group. Those are sitting in the "projects" pile and I suppose I'll get to that...sometime. On the fence about whether to also buy camber bolts; I'm seeing plenty of people saying they're not necessary with the GW springs.

Camber bolts cost peanuts, you have to remove those bolts anyhow in order to install the springs, and they'll allow you to set your camber perfectly. I just don't see a good reason NOT to install them

S'pose that makes sense. Been a minute since I did coilovers (on the Merc) and now that I think about it, they were easy to install.

I'm also seeing mixed opinions on whether adding the rear camber arms is necessary, so...I guess those are going on the list, too. Cha-ching......................

Hi. New to the forum, and new to the platform. I just took delivery of my ‘26 XL AWD hybrid. I went with the most polarizing color. I apologize for triggering half of the Mav owners here.

Plans so far: tint, lower, wheels (maybe Lobo?)

I have the “this trip” mileage turned on and I haven’t been below 40 yet. Really enjoying the improved mileage compared to the Ecoboost Flex Limited that this replaces.

Looks great. I put an order in over a month ago for an XL AWD Hybrid 4K. It will be built at the end of June. To my eyes the XL wheels look best with this color. Just going from pictures as I haven’t seen one in real life yet.
