Just purchased a 2026 XLT Maverick, 2WD Ecoboost. Traded in a 2015 F150 XL to "downsize". I'm happy with the Maverick, however I got hosed on my trade-in. My fault for not pushing harder. Oh well, glad to have the Maverick and looking forward to learning from this forum. So far I've put in a bed and tailgate mat (Michelin), LED bed lights, a second compartment in the bed, Tyger tonneau cover, and made bed dividers.

Welcome to the MTC and we hope your new ride works out for you as ours has for us...we love our 2025 Hybrid!

Have a look at the following photo I am adding...it just shows where your manual door lock latch is on the front doors...they can easily be pressed when pushing the door open!

If you read past threads here on MTC, you may see many regarding the driver door locking "on its own". This is the answer.
