New HRG 1.5" Lift for Hybrid

Anyone install the new HRG 1.5" lift for the hybrid? Thoughts on this kit?

I installed the level kit and after hearing a slight popping/grinding noise I decided to take it out. You have to grind the front strut and “beat” the inner fender wall to accommodate for the sway bar links.

I believe I didn’t push the inner fender wall in which caused the noise but was already tired of it. The sway bar links are no joke though, very thick. In the end I returned it, but it was pretty otherwise…

BE SURE TO LIFT BOTH ENDS-helpful tip to relieve tension on sway🥲

the instructions on their website doesn't say anything about needing to beat the inner fender wall .. could you expand on that ? thanks

I've watched the HRG install video too and no mention of anything like that.

Apparently the Hybrid/2WD lift kit and the Leveling Kit do require some modification to the inner fender with a hammer to make room for the end links, as seen in step 13 [here]/14 [here] of the PDF.

HOWEVER, this step is NOT present in the standard 1.5" all around lift kit [here].

I'm not really fond of the HRG products, I watched his install videos when I was considering his lift and he's pretty ham fisted when installing things and he didn't even install his camber bolts correctly, really makes me wonder about the design of his products......
