Looks like I may just box it up until I have time to do myself. The one installer anywhere near me that popped up on the HRG site as an approved installer (which they had no clue about) wants like $800 to do it. I’m seeing what some of the other local shops say but if it stays that high I’ll just tackle it myself

Nice. Went with HRG aswell. But 1.25” level. They seem to have the most complete kit endlinks and camber bolts etc. Great quality.

Do it yourself or pay a shop?

Yikes, that's rough. I was hoping to see a couple hundred for the quote...

I already had a spring/suspension shop get back and say $275-330 (more what I expected) so think these other guys were clueless. But this other shop is booked until July 😞

Had this installed today but I won’t get it back until tomorrow. Nobody in my area has the alignment specs loaded into their setup so I told the shop they could keep it until tomorrow when the place they use for alignment updates with the specs.

Shop did say kit was smooth install and that HRG definitely makes high quality parts.

Got my HRG kit today. Haven’t had a whole lot of project time lately so may just shell out to get it put in. Will update with before and after pics.

235/65. I’ve easily gone past my wife approved budget so 245/65 will have to wait until I wear these out 😂

I hear that- lol. Big price difference between the 2 sizes ? I think without a lift and not wanting to kill mileage too much 245/65 might be the biggest option ?

Yeah given that I don’t go anywhere insanely aggressive off road, when I do go up it’ll probably be to something like a Nomad Grappler, Wildpeak Trail or Trail Terrain rather than sticking with a full AT. They’re reasonably priced at that size, still 3 Peak rated, weigh about the same as a 235 AT and should still be good enough to get me through anywhere I plan to drive.

I am debating between 235 & 245- Need as much ground clearance as possible before a lift later in life-All the plastic stuff on the Mav hangs pretty low unfortunately -

I'm running Toyo AT3s in 245/65R17. Puts me at about 8.8" of ground clearance if I did the math right. You may also wanna look into a taller sidewalk with the 235.

If you're offroading often and in snow or mud, I recommend them, especially with a lift. I went with the Toyos because they're a couple pounds lighter than most other options in that size.
