My 2022 hybrid built February 2022 has been in the shop for a month after airbag replacement..
More on that on a different post..
I’m starting to feel I made a mistake buying the new generation Maverick.
I get that the forum is a place to gather information, and it has been helpful for me.
But I could use a few positive Maverick experiences.

I mean, I've only had mine for two months (and just over 700 miles), but my Hybrid has been great so far? Took it for a nice drive with my wife in the country this weekend, where on two lane highways I still averaged about 49 miles per gallon too.

No, its a terrible truck - I will purchase yours for 18K no questions asked as long as it hasn't been totaled. I guess what Im trying to say is anyone that states " I’m starting to feel I made a mistake buying the new generation Maverick. " you should sell now when you can get more than you paid for it originally.

So, you have been part of this forum for a while but need to hear "positive experiences " ?

I'm approaching 10k miles and it's been problem free! Got all TSB's and airbag done, all within 1 day. It does help that my dealership was voted top dealership in my province so they have experienced techs and systems in place

15 months of ownership...minor display cable issue. Otherwise it has been a great truck. I've elected to at least for now, skip the Air Bag recall since I will never have rear seat passengers and it seems a lot of dealers are having issues (finger prints left behind) with that recall.

Edit: After 3 emails from Ford about Air Bag Recall had it done, and sure enough I have the black oily hand prints on the ceiling liner.

Have mine for a year (March 30, 2022) and 14,000 trouble-free (knock wood) miles.
Averaging 40 mpg while driving 70% highway. Still feels, looks, sounds, and drives like the day I picked it up, which is to say "new". Even has the "new car smell".... I'm probably never doing the seatbelt recall, and will likely skip the grabby brakes TSB as well. I somehow avoid the sudden stop and "clunk" when braking; I guess the truck trained me :ROFLMAO:

Only had my 2023 Hybrid for 32 days...but trouble free, just like the 2017 Ford C-Max hybrid I've had since 1/2018. Ford knows how to do hybrids (and leave them flat-towable, unlike Toyota).

I wish I'd have bought another one for my wife! 2024, here we come!

There’s a seat belt recall now?!

September 22 build, October 22 delivery. No issues other than the grabby brakes and I had the TSB performed and it is all good now. I love it and have ordered a 23.

Overall, after 13 months of ownership, I’m very pleased with mine.

Good luck

2022 First Edition Hybrid - Took delivery January 24th, 2022.
It got the airbag recall and the grabby brake TSB done.
And somewhere along the way, it got 2 door dings.
As of this morning, it turned 8600 miles.

And you know what my single biggest, most infuriating problem is with it? I don't get to drive it as much as I'd like to. Seriously. I look for excuses to drive it. I take the long way getting somewhere to enjoy the ride. I enjoy it. What can I say? :)

6 months in, 4,000 miles, 0 problems. Absolutely loving mine. It has us seriously considering getting rid of our other car (Volvo XC60) since both my wife and I prefer driving the Maverick 9 times out of 10 anyway.
