Mystery slot

My 2022 lariat has a mystery slot behind the gearshift knob. Does everyone have this? What the heck is it for?

That slot is there to allow the truck to automatically lock the drivers side door and ONLY the drivers side door so it will be locked when you get back from getting your coffee.

I hate to break it to you but you are wrong.
The slot in the console is to insert your credit card in to purchase a resupply of ammo for the Jellyfish Launcher and blades for the Snake Choppers.

I purchased a switch button cover to protect my slot. I did not want to accidently drop something into that slot or press a button.

I totally agree, but unfortunately here in Canada and being on this forum I can’t get the magnifying glass for search and maybe using I-phone is the reason! Tried everything!! Anyone with advice would be welcome cause trust me, I’ve tried!

Strange, it shows on my iPhone and pc fine, can’t imagine that Canada would prevent that
