MY22 Production Extended AGAIN!

I got lucky. I walked in on the morning of the 16th and they weren’t even aware that order banks had opened. They checked after I assured them the banks were opened.

Same here, I was the first one. I cannot locate my build sheet but I believe it was priority 10 and I credit that to my only add on being the full size spare (they'll do the spray in bed liner when my truck arrives as Line-X is just down the street).

While I sympathize with the wait (9+ months myself), I can't agree on value. I plugged the VIN for my 10/24 build into Carmigo (online auction) and received an estimate of $39,500. This is for a truck with a sticker price of $31,500. So, hard to complain about a vehicle that will be worth $8K more than you paid for it the day you drive off the lot.

Hmm, plugged in my VIN and got an estimate of $38,800. Prices for used upper trims are falling rapidly in my area, you see lots of "price reductions". There is not a doubt in my mind that my truck is worth less than a identical 23 that might get built a few weeks after mine.

Carmigo estimates are hit or miss. They're just guessing. They estimated $36,500 for my XL, but it sold for $34,500.

In terms of "flipping" Mavericks, the lower the trim the more profit there is to be made it seems.

Sept '21 Hybrid order, in Sept '22 received word I was scheduled originally for Oct 3. Since then it's been changed to Oct 10, and now Oct 24.

I’m still 10/31 week as of now. I know everyone says if you have a vin you are getting a 22, but i still wonder what happens if they don’t build your vin’ed 22, and you don’t get a private offer, and 23 ordering is now closed . Here’s hoping they get all the 22 with vin finished! Good luck everyone

I have a ‘22 Hybrid ordered on 10/20/22. My original production week and Vin# was 9/5, then pushed to week of 9/19, now it’s week of 10/24. So I’m thinking we’re running out of weeks before the ‘23 Mavericks are scheduled to start production. Based on the track record of Maverick production I’d say ‘23 production might be pushed back. I hope I’m wrong because I want my Maverick!!!

Hybrid Lariat ordered 10/19/21 scheduled 11/14/22. Bummer to get a '22 in '23. hoping to get it in late December.

Ha! I ordered a XLT (tried to change it to a Lariat) 10/21/21. I'm scheduled to build 11/14.
Kinda sweating it. If they change over to '23s mid-teens of November it might not happen and I be an orphan. What then? Just for the heck of it I ordered a '23 Lariat a few weeks ago. If I get a 22 in 23 I'll be pissed.

Someone just shared this on FB. Looks like Ford is extending MY22 production at least an additional week beyond what was previously announced.

It would appear MY23 production now won't start until at least the week of 11/21.

I was hoping for that remote chance my XLT EcoBoost order might get moved forward from the 10/10 build date I was finally given but I got an e-mail last night... now I'm at 10/17.

And I just heard from Ford again. Now I'm moved back to 10/24!

My 2022 Maverick xlt Hybrid Truck has been now bumped from 10/17 to 10/24 scheduled Production week. We'll see how this date holds up, its always being changed for 1 reason or another
