Does your Kentucky dealer have any allocations left? Small dealers usually mean small sales which means few allocations. Assuming you didn't put in a rollover order since you hate Ford.

I have an MBA and a degree in economics and I haven't seen a significant issue with Ford that isn't impacting all car manufacturers now.
Ford's Ordering and fulfillment system Is INDEPENDENT of economic forces. It's just mismanagement. Communication can go a long way in soothing upset customers, and they can't even do that right.

I literally waited a whole 185 days for my Mav, OH, the humanity. :ROFLMAO: ;););) As you well know, a lot of folks have waited a hell of a lot longer...and some are still waiting. Those folks have the patience of a saint. Don't know if I would have waited that long.

It's now going on eleven months since i ordered my Maverick Lariat through a small dealer in Kentucky. My reason for choosing this dealer is that this dealer has won numerous President's Award and they only sell vehicles at MSRP. I originally ordered a hybrid Maverick Lariat, but when we received information and switching to an ecoboost would increase my chances of getting built. Customer Service with Ford has given me all kinds of excuses, yet I see others who have ordered at the same time or later since September 16, 2022 have received their Maveric. I cannot believe how inept Ford Motor Company has been in getting this fiasco or an order system figured out. I've bought 8 new Ford vehicles since 2013 off the lot. I've been a loyal Ford customer. I have used Ford's service department at this one dealer I was using. I currently have a 2019 Edge Titanium and a 2020 Ford Escape SEL. I've decided that after this experience with Ford, I'll be going with a different brand. This is a text book case for a School of Business to review and see how Ford has been such a failure.
Well, switch it back to a hybrid if possible. Waiting this long, might as well get what you want!

No, the poster said School of Business should study Ford's failures. I pointed out based on my experience and specific education there isn't a failure to study. Just a bunch of people that knew ordering a Maverick was a gamble of when it would arrive so the failure was on him for unreasonable expectations.
Utter Nonsense, Ford has exacerbated the supply chain issues with a poor ordering system combined with an arbitrary allocation system. Add in poor communication with the customers and this is exactly the kind of failure that should be studied in Business Schools.

No such thing. Only dealers order through Ford. Customers must order through dealer. Ford can not really lock in the price the dealer charges.
Yet Ford Motor Company has FULL Control over the Sticker Price from the Factory.

Kinda curious back in the day Ford to meet fusion demand made them not only in Hermosillo but Flatrock along with the Mustangs. That said only Fusion Hybrids were only built in Hermosillo. Some years they actually sold over 300,000 units of Fusion.

Still if ecoboost mavericks were built in another plant or if they moved the Bronco sport out of Hermosillo it would free up a lot of production space.

You are wrong! I received mine in January. The dealer can’t raise the price unless it goes into their inventory. When you from the manufacturer through through the dealer, Ford gives you a number and a confirmation email with price. Most dealers will charge a $500 admin fee for ordering but they cannot raise the price. If they do, they are not legit.

It took me 13 months to get my 2022 Maverick Lariat and I am very pleased with
it,I also got my 2023 In about the same time frame and my Wife has taken it over. The only
regret with the 2023 is we somehow left off ACC.We have a order in for a 2024 AWD Lariat FX4 with towing and sunroof and all the goodies that my 2022 has with a new color option. You must be patient as I think they are worth the wait.

I agree in general, most reputable dealers will operate the way you say. However, just look on this forum, many dealers have almost black mailed customers who ordered trucks once they came in. Ford doesn't like it, but they don't do anything about it. A customer order is not a guarantee of no ADM. It can be on fees, mandatory dealer added options or other frivolous charges.

I can only imagine how long this poor guy waited just to see it on a truck on its way to a junk yard. I stopped at a truck stop in Montana and this tow truck pulled up pulling a broken down junk yard truck with a new Maverick in it. I’m assuming the back was wrecked. I sure would of liked to get the rems off it.🤷🏼‍♂️

My personal vehicles for 33 straight years until May of this year have been Fords. Rangers to be specific. I guess that makes me as loyal as they come as well and guess what, I am still waiting for my Maverick as well. It will be close to or at a year when it is finally sitting in my garage, so I would say to the OP, welcome to the club.

I too purchased from a highly rated and well known dealer who sells at MSRP, does their homework, checked the right radio buttons to get my price protection, did the COVP without being asked and seem to be as anxious as I am for the Mav to come in.

Unfortunately for me, they have no magic wand to get me my Maverick sooner that anyone else.

BTW, 33 years straight driving a Ford did not get me a Ford GT. Just kidding, it was my wallet that shot me in the foot on that one. :ROFLMAO:
FordGT…is this Jay Leno?😂

490 days and I finally got my rollover MY 23 this past March. Meanwhile I had a life and got pretty good at Twiddly Winks.

I ordered in Nov of '21 and I finally received my build date for Sept 4th, after waiting 20 months. If the process flows like what I've read. I may have it by October, almost 2 years. If you really want one, hang in there.

I really think it has to do with the dealer’s allocation, how in the world did I get mine built months before you??? I mean it hasn’t delivered yet, your delivery will be much faster I hope..
