So far the H4 AGM batterys on amazon are a direct fit. Most people here seem to to choose the UPLUS brand I chose the MARXON but I believe its the same company. https://www.amazon.com/MARXON-Maintenance-Automotive-Replacement-Batteries/dp/B0CRHBQ7HY
that is the one I bought and it fit my truck...
Put in a MARXON today, got it off amazon looks to be the same as the UPLUS everyone is using but was cheaper with coupon, the original ford battery was at 12.0/11.9 volts after removing from truck. nice to have my interior lights back.
I wish ford could upgrade the brain of the radio to sync 3, even if it was made available as a paid dealer upgrade. Ive never had my camera lock up but I did have it stay on while I was driving down the road for a couple of miles till I reached my destination
I want to share with you something I call the tooth brush theory. I have a Braun electric toothbrush from 2005, its made in Germany and has a Nimh battery, ive been using it since highschool. Anyways when its colder out the toothbrush spins much slower even when fully charged.
However I can...
My 2011 still working great and has had the 22g04 battery update. 160k miles, it can still hit the max 45-47 in all electric mode, but my maverick outdoes it in electric mode range acceleration etc.
I do not plan to get any of the recalls done on my late 2023 built Maverick, I have had only minor issues with the radio so if its not broke don't fix it.
My favorite recall was the airbag recall on my 2011 fusion hybrid, the tech found all sorts of gum wrappers tickets, coins, receipts etc...
Have a driven and owned/owns a few ford hybrids here is my opinion, I have still have a 2011 Fusion hybrid i drive and my girlfriends car is a 2010 fusion hybrid. Both cars run like a swiss watch, the all electric mode is a bit weak from age but neither fail to start and still run great. the...
I was wondering if anyone has a picture of Mavericks engine block with the head off. I would like to know if its closed deck or open deck block design. I know my older fusion hybrid 2.5 has a closed deck design so would like to know just out of curiosity.
Maybe you should read up on them and you would find the 2010-2012 Fusion Hybrids used Nimh battery packs and not lithium ions, they also have the Aisin HD-20 CVT (japanese) which proved to be far more reliable then the HF-35 used in the later units that ford put out a TSB for bearing failure
Got the good old nimh battery pack in my fusion hybrid, no fires yet. It would be nice to know the statistics of previous ford hybrids and how many caught fire per units produced to see if the maverick is a outlier or not.
Kinda curious back in the day Ford to meet fusion demand made them not only in Hermosillo but Flatrock along with the Mustangs. That said only Fusion Hybrids were only built in Hermosillo. Some years they actually sold over 300,000 units of Fusion.
Still if ecoboost mavericks were built in...
I am in the same boat as you expecting a oct delivery, I thought I heard of ford honoring the lower rate from when you ordered the car? maybe it that isn't so?
