Good advice. They seem to send it to me every week or two without asking for it.
yep, but if you request offer, then next day do it again, to them thats a new vehicle/same vehicle in same area, which means they will offer less to that 2nd person, since theres already one pending/offered from what I understand. I fortunately had the email, and went and accepted it. I lost 8k over 5 months, but Idgaf, I wanted that car gone. it was fun for a few months, then it just was annoying. brb 18-20mpg on 93 octane. and still slow lol insurance went from like 90 to 130 out of nowhere. so yeah, screw that car.

Agree, I sold 3 Mavericks for a profit after paying sales tax, dealer fees, tags and miles on the odometer. Crazy market due to the pandemic and the new maverick thing.
I used to think buying a nice late model used vehicle was a good idea but mot sure anymore. One really needs to do their homework when shopping for a used or new vehicle. Sometimes new is cheaper than used or at least a better deal and then sometimes you just get screwed or worse you screw yourself. :D
One of the top 3 rules of owning a vehicle = "Do not own what you cannot afford to walk away from at the next intersection". This is accomplished by most by purchasing more than minimum insurance coverage.
Yes, here is my brand-new offer from Carvana from last week on a 2024 XLT with lux and 360 at 6,200 miles.

Don't forget to check XLT with XLT-LUX and XL. Those with packages normally loose value quicker when truck is used.

True. Those $$ Ford packages do not seem to add much value down the track, but they do make the car more livable while you have it. In the PNW where I live, it is pretty hard to re-sell any late model vehicle without heated seats at a minimum.

I think it has a bunch to do with location, they may be loaded up in your area, just got rid of mine to carvana to buy my 25, they gave me 33k

Yes, seems to vary by location. There is a strong preference for AWD vehicles which is why Subaru is so popular here, and most Mavericks are FWD. SUV also seem to be preferred over trucks too.

As a reference point, I am not going to say what I sold it for, but my 2023 is now listed on the dealership website for 30K. I was paid a LOT less than that. Less than a week turnaround for them to "recondition" it for resale.

Ohh, my mistake. $30,994 . Sigh.......

Window Sticker was $27,940 when I bought it.

My dealership has 36 new Mavericks and one used Maverick in stock. This at a dealership in a suburb of the fourth-largest city in the State of Alabama.

Mavericks on Carvana are likely losing value simply due to the fact Ford has gotten the supply issue handled.

Heated seats allow me to stay warm earlier and delay turning cabin heat on 10-15 degrees lower.

I think it's more interest rates and recalls.

Wow, asking above MSRP for a used vehicle! That is not the case in the PNW.

Here is the new ad for my former '24 XLT w/lux, 360, bedliner at about 5.5k miles not a single dent or scratch anywhere. This is about $2,500 below MSRP, and it has been on the lot for 3 weeks to date.

Yes it is. I am in the Seattle area. Haha.

Now will they get it? I hope not. I don't like the dealership I sold it to. But they are the closest dealer to me and I was being jerked around by CarMax and Carvana. So I went with the dealership even though I don't like them. Money is money.

Maybe they are hoping to sell it to a Boeing or Microsoft employee!
