Mr Ford. Why is the dash so sticky? Touch it, and your fingers get sticky

I had my Maverick through multiple seasons and did not notice any stickiness to the plastics, but I owned it less than 18 months. That said, I had an older Escape that exhibited this stickiness, and the dealerships attributed it to the then newly-released soy based plastics by Ford.
While I didn't habitually touch my dash frequently, the adhesive was similar to a Post-IT pad in tackiness and was a real dust magnet. Very difficult to keep clean.

Entire dash is sticky on my ‘22 Maverick. I’ll try cleaning with some interior product but wondering if this is permanent or if Ford will address at some point. Truck is out in the sun most of the time.
