So, first period with a lot of idling due to dealer showing me details and taking friends for a spin--i wasn't bragging, but they were excited to see what I had ordered. This trip, of about 20 miles of inspection by Ford and 140miles going back to Douglas county Oregon. Took the road connecting coos Bay Oregon to Roseburg Oregon. This trip had about 24 mpg. Averaged about 65mph-75mph due to passing. Next trip was put to diamond lake admittedly going slower than normal of about 55 or less, 28.6 mpg. Had about 230 miles on that trip. Took it to the train truss and idled to use the outlet. I will let you know if you can use an Xbox and projector soon enough :). Next trip, just driving back and forth to work a few days, 100 miles, 28mpgs. These are all hard check by milesĂ·gallons bought. Definitely couldn't be happier so far. I'm at 1099 miles at the moment. So I'm pretty happy with the results. I will update you with towing, once I get over the break in period so I can start towing.
I will update you guys as I find more things, as I know I had many questions that weren't answered by vague overviews. The good news is that the tremor continues to improve mpgs.
Sorry for any errors, typing on my phone, which I often fail to double check my typing--laptops are what I'm used to.
This tremor has no modifications or any accessories. Lariat luxury tremor.

Did you also do a lot of low speed driving since the engine breakin recommendation is varied speeds first 1,000 miles?

Where I could, yes, but on most of the highways that I run, going ten below the speed limit will most likely end up in a wreck--unless you're on the corners. I took it around my home town for about 100 or so miles varying the speeds and ensuring I wasn't stepping on it; just smooth acceleration. 138E and the Coos's highway are windy as well, which helped vary my speeds. Nothing besides I5 is really a straight shot, which still has its moments.

XLT Tremor with 1917 miles. Mostly 2 lane windy rural roads 10 miles to town driving about 60 ish MPH with a couple 100 mile interstate trips I'm reading 26.7. Last couple fillups I've been slightly over 28MPG and the overall has been ticking up a tenth or so every fillup. I'm using 92 octane as its the only gas I can get without ethanol. It ran the same on 87 but I am an anti ethanol advocate!

I'm to the South of you in Eureka Springs, Ark. Multiple octane grades of 100% non-ethanol (aka "real gas") are available here, from 87 up. It does get slightly higher mileage, but not enough to justify the higher price. I do run real gas in my lawn mowers, though.

Have to. those small engines (2 and 4 cycle) thrive on higher octane, lower ethanol blend fuels.

Finally hit 30 mpg on a road trip to visit family. Exact calculated mpg was 30.04. I usually average 28 to 29 mpg on my daily commute. '23 Tremor Lariat bone stock. I use 87 octane.

Nothing wrong with ethanol, but hygroscopic fuel will absorb water when you live in humid climate and your source of fuel is a controlled leak (carburetor). I've run ethanol in just about everything I can (E85) as it's cheap race fuel. When I lived at 8k feet above sea level in dry Colorado, I mixed in E85 to lean out the mixture in my carbureted stuff. Beats re-jetting all the time.

That's damn good mileage for a Tremor.
