Hey all. Not sure if this was covered before but has anyone tried to motorize the rear sliding window? I always forgot to close mine since I have to either reach back and stretch or get out and get back into the rear seat to close it. Maybe the Lariat has that option. So has anyone retrofitted an XL or XLT for it?

Yes, it was offered on the Lariat.

Lariat has the motorized rear window and I would say it would be worth it for you to replace yours for same.

I thought I read on here where it could be done with '22-23 manual sliding window and adding the Lariat motor and switches. If you already have the Manual slider. Otherwise, look for a Lariat wreck in a junkyard.

Couldn’t find that thread or post.

Truck came with a manual slider.
Found a new set up for around $400 with motor just no switch.

Thank you!!!!
I also can't find, but think there is another thread/post out there indicating that the manual slider is the same except for the latch and would adapt.

The power sliding rear window is one of my favorite features! I had the manual version on my Dodge Ram and hardly ever used it. I like to drive with it open and vent the sunroof.

I can't add anything technical to the discussion but I will say the remote sliding rear window is one Lariat feature that I use all the time.

My 2016 GMC Canyon had a manual sliding rear window and it was closed when I could have used it open and vice versa. The only benefit of the manual window was I could poke long sticks of baseboard through it.

With all the noise, dust, dirt, funes and pollen in the air, I rarely open any windows. And in the rare instance when I do, I invariably encounter something that causes me to roll them right back up.

To each their own.
