I know tire size has been beaten to death around here but I don’t see many people mention wheel offset.
Taking delivery of my XL/AWD in the next day or 2. Had the dealer install a 2” rough country lift. At pickup I’ll be rolling with the stock steelies and I haven’t ordered my wheels and tires yet. From all the reading I’ve done, the consensus is 245/65/17 will fit no problem. As for bigger tires, those answers seem all over the place and very few mention wheel size.
Id like to run 245/70/17 A/T tires on fuel zephyr 17X8.5 wheels. These wheels have a 25mm offset as opposed to the factory wheels 35-39 offset(not 100% sure that is correct) I like the tires to really fill the wheel wells up from side view. don’t care much how wide they are.
sorry if this is rehashing what’s been talked about but I couldn’t find much info on this specific tire size with this specific wheel offset.
