Does anyone know why the military 500 dollar discount from Ford for veterans is not for all veterans only veterans that have left military in the last 24 months. Seams vary unfair

I got it on 23Jan24. They gave me the discount and I’ve been retired for 25 years. I didn’t even know it was offered. Talk to your salesperson. Ford believes you desrve it or they would not offer it. By the way, thank you for your service!!!Does anyone know why the military 500 dollar discount from Ford for veterans is not for all veterans only veterans that have left military in the last 24 months. I retired in 1994. I got the $500 discount on 1-12-24. At first my sales man said something about leaving the military in the last 24 months. Then he called someone at Ford (sorry, not sure who) and then he called ID me. After the two calls he was able to apply the $500 discount.Does anyone know why the military 500 dollar discount from Ford for veterans is not for all veterans only veterans that have left military in the last 24 months. Sorry to hear that. I think it should be all veterans. I hope Ford listens to this websiteI was denied, got out in 2001.
I used the Illinois Farm Bureau $500 rebate, though it did cost $20.
Ironically, I don't live in Illinois.
Very dumb policy.
Yup. It worked for me as well. I retired in 2014. $500.00 is $500.00. Better than a sharp stick in the eye. Yur sales manager (or Finance Manager) will apply it. The code is good from Jan through Dec.Thanks I will ask again but it does say 24 months. But went to ID me and put in my info and it gave me a number to give to the finance manager slo we will see. Every little bit helps. Thanks
