I didnāt want the camera inside. Tinted rear window, sliding rear window and didnāt want a camera stuck on the window. Cameras have been installed outside for years.
I installed the rear dash cam on top of the trailer hitch. I ran the cables like you said. Through the grommet behind the rear seat. Worked out great. The view from the camera is just right. Thanks for your help.
Iām not able to check right now. When I looked earlier today I saw two larger grommets behind the back seat. Maybe 4x2 inches in size. One on each side. Iāll check it out tomorrow when I get back to the truck. Thanks
What is the best way to mount a rear dash cam outside of the truck near the trailer hitch ? Iām trying to figure out how to best route the cable from inside of the truck to outside of the truck. Thanks
