Maverick xl 12 volt battery charging system....

Does anyone know why my 2023 maverick 12 volt battery only charges to 80% ....after driving 270 miles the battery tops out at 12.6 volts and then decreases gradually to about 11.7 volts and I get a sleep mode notice from Ford ( had 63 notices)....but if I use my 2 amp tender for 7.5 hours the battery (tender disconnected ) voltage tops out at 13 volts and it will be down to 12.6 volts 4 days later.....it seems to me that it Ford would fully charge the 12 volt battery, we could get an additional 4 days of not driving and avoid some of the constant battery complaints....why only 80%....ty

Yes. You can modify the percentage via ForScan if you want to.

No, there is no way they will. You will need to find someone local to you that has ForScan and is willing to help. You can post in the ForScan forum to ask.
