That’s a crazy amount of rain, especially considering that there was no hurricane. I see in other news reports that some people were evacuated from their homes and there was at least one fatality from a downed tree. Not at all a good situation.

As for the Maverick, if the water got no deeper than the photo, it should be okay. When water depth reaches the “axles” (the center of the wheels) is when potential damage begins.

Live in Pensacola and this is what I call a once In a decade rainstorm. We had 20” in one day across the entire city a few years back. Low lying areas with no drainage will flood, and some roads will be covered and wash out, but Pensacola soil is very sandy so most of the area dries out very quickly.

I live in Pensacola, also and we lost power for about an hour and a half during this storm. The wind was so strong, it blew over one of the 8' 2X4s I had leaning on a post under my carport. It just missed my Maverick. Needless to say they are now laying flat in my back yard. Weird thing is, my neighborhood is prone to flooding and there was very little water on the road when I came in to work tonight.

SARASOTA here, lots of fast flooding here, SOOO glad I bought my truck my Miata would have drown, this is just pretty recent have been here 46 years, I think it's because of massive new construction and not enough ground to soak it up.
