Plucked this shot from a news feed this PM, Pensacola got a 12" in 3 hours, 16" total overnight.

I'm fwb that storm was wild.Live in Pensacola and this is what I call a once In a decade rainstorm. We had 20” in one day across the entire city a few years back. Low lying areas with no drainage will flood, and some roads will be covered and wash out, but Pensacola soil is very sandy so most of the area dries out very quickly.
