Maverick vibrates after remote start and key turned on

It's happened twice now, I remote start my Maverick XLT hybrid, then turn on the key, and there is a violent vibration. The first time I turned off the engine to stop it, the second time I put the truck in gear and it subsided. I've also noticed a more subtle vibration when applying the breaks, which seems like a regenerative braking issue to me.

What should I do about this vibration? If I take it to a dealer they won't be able to reproduce it, I'm sure.

Take it to the dealer. Even if they can't reproduce it, it will be recorded that you had the issue and tried to do something about it.

Sounds like the same thing I experienced, twice now. Both times I shut it off and restarted it. Scary! It was not a remote start.

Check out the tsb 23-2209. I had the same problem with my hybrid - shudder when slowing down. Software update fixed it.
