Was it really though? Articles I read was "reportedly" shown to dealers, and it would be out in 2025. That was 2022, so I would think something more official would be out since then, IF Ford were pursuing it.

Ford has been back and forth on a Transit Connect replacement for a number of years. Maverick van was the planned replacement, then scrapped, maybe back, maybe scrapped again. Doubtful anyone knows for sure unless there is someone on the forum who is working on the tooling.

You can't trust pictures, or even video anymore. You can make extremely realistic video using an app on just your phone.
Nothing is real unless you can touch it.

Isn't the Bronco Sport the same platform as the Maverick?
They could just make a Bronco Sport without side windows. Or make solid panels that glue on just like the windows do. (very cheap manufacturing change vs machining machines to make a new body stamping without glass)(also would likely sidestep any required DOT testing and certification, costing millions)

A Bronco Sport without side windows would be an awful dinky van. The Maverick's longer wheelbase would make it a much more useful vehicle.

They have the Transit Connect. I had one.
They don’t need another minivan to cut into
TC sales, that would not be smart.

For the US market in 2023 Ford Discontinued the Transit Connect due to poor sales.

I would say the possibilities of bringing in another small minivan seeing as how everybody has pulled out of the market is pretty slim.

I can understand that, mine was a bit small.
The full size Transit is what a van should be.

Actually, the Ford Transit Connect would have been the perfect size van for me, if I wanted another minivan.
