Nada, haven't seen any. Plenty of F-150 commercials. I do recall seeing them for like 3.9% and XLT Hybrid. Which I didn't know was an F-150 trim level also.
Hey I been driving GM stuff for the last 17 years.

I hit a deer in my Honda Fit in November 2024 and it was a total loss. I'd been eyeing Mavericks for a while and knew if Toyota didn't come out with a hybrid Taco, I would be headed to the Blue Oval (my wife is a dedicated Ford driver). Since they didn't, I started Googling dealers for Hybrids on the lot in Lariat trim since I wanted ACC. Turns out there were quite a few. One salesman I talked to attributed it to financial uncertainty resulting from the upcoming election. I found the only one in the area that did NOT have a sunroof since I couldn't justify an extra $995 for an option I didn't want. Am very pleased with my purchase so far and had no problem with supply shortage. Under a Trump/Musk economy, I don't see any way production can keep up with demand. F-150 buyers aren't switching to Mavericks, but SUV owners who want a bed will be the main source of buyers, I'm guessing.
That is where I came from when I bought my used 2022 Maverick XLT 2.0 liter with the FX4. I never seen a ad but knew about them and just waited. I came from a diesel powered 2018 Chevrolet Equinox

If you think about your old marketing classes, you advertise for multiple reasons. One is simply to build brand awareness, where you're selling a narrative. Like "Built Ford Tough" or "Quality is Job 1". Or Mazda's "Zoom, zoom". Or Nissan's "Dogs love trucks".

Another is to move product that isn't moving. there are others that I've forgotten.

Since Mavericks are moving, I'm guessing any Maverick ads we see are just building a Ford narrative. I think the latest Ford narrative is "we build cool and exciting vehicles". I'm not sure anyone is buying that narrative, but that's what they're selling. That's straight from the CEO's mouth. So I expect we'll see Mavericks jumping sand dunes in ads soon.

My dealer has stock. So, they aren't flying off the truck like they used to. Combination of market saturation and higher interest rates. Those of us that really wanted one got ours by now. So, the average shopper should have an easier time just finding one.

Im trying to think and I dont watch a lot of TV id say less than 4 hours a day !!!!!!!
4 hours a day is way way too much for me.
The only time we are suppose to be sitting still is in a deer stand hunting or on the crapper. :XD
I watch a movie or two a week.
I watched the Super Bowl, but not the half time.
I’d say 4 hours a week at most won’t shorten my life.
We were not meant to sit.

I watch about 2 hours a day with it on as background noise while i read. I get in about a hour in the afternoon from 12-1pm and then before I go to bed around 10pm-11pm other than that its on but background noise. In the winter im doing PC game stuff in the better weather hiking, fishing or shooting targets..

I have yet to see a Maverick commercial on TV, or anywhere else for that matter. All I ever see is F 150 commercials. I don't get it---Ford never advertised their cars either. They built some very good sedans, but you would have never known anything about them. The Crown Vic, Mercury Marquis, Fusion and Taurus received zero press and they wondered why sales went away. When I think back about the 2011 Ranger, it was much the same. We only sell F 150's.
Ford caved in on car sales and just pointed the customers to Toyota, Honda, Kia & Hyundai.
They thought they can survive on the high margins of the F150

So if I wanted to upgrade from my 2023 to a similar equip 2025, it will cost me 10K more OTD.
The average shopper may have a easier time finding a Maverick, but it won't come without the sticker shock.

NAILED IT !
IF I owned Ford I fix it so no matter what your needs FORD
Has it. From the Fiesta to the,, wait for it,,,,,,,,,,
The Ford 9,000
That is a class five Three axle tractor with a 21 speed tranny including a 3 speed rear end.
Powered optionally by the

Caterpillar 3406 series

An optional engine for the Ford 9000 series that could produce up to 375 horsepower.
To those that don’t know max torque is at 1650 to 1800 rpm.
Lower number when pulling 50,000 pounds of cargo on your 12,000 pound trailer
ALL on the same lot.

That way when daddy buys his college bound baby girl her first car.
A Ford Mustang GTD
He can take a test drive in the 9000 with the 220” wheel base
And the, ‘Lariat’ Sleeper cabover.
The EV division would get its shit together and build a righteous Electric truck and a
2.0 Eco AWD 250 hp and 277 ft lbs of twist. Hybrid, ‘Lariat’ Maverick truck.
With a 3 position choice switch

1: Electric only with 150 Mile range, much larger battery here.

2: Hybrid, both engines doing what they do best.

3: All on the gasser.
Option A: Charging
Option B: Well, Free wheeling

I’d retire the Ranger. It would be redundant.

Oh, Incase ya didn’t know it FORD. You have to put buttons, knobs, dials and cranks back in. Give us at least two left foot floor buttons. Truck drivers know it’s dangerous to take your eyes off the road to look at a screen. I have ADHD. That would get me killed.

My Maverick would sound pretty dang cool with a foot button engine compression release.
I know ya’all seen the signs near homes.

Now that would be the real cool.
Not poser cool like a new sticker or trim trinket.

Ok, I’m done.

I just remembered that WAY back in the day about the time that Dodge trucks, now Ram trucks, came out w/ their new body style, this new TV show called Walker, Texas Ranger came on. It was very popular and, of course, Walker drove one of the new Dodge trucks. Pretty soon everybody wanted one just like his. So... Ford just needs to get one of the networks to put their hunky new heroes into a Maverick and they'd sell tons of the things.

I'm surprised that didn't get more play back in the day (I never saw it) and that there hasn't been an updated one on... fairly good, direct ad for a decent little truck.
