Maverick TV Ads

Ford must think they are able to produce all the Mavericks they think they are able to sell. I have been seeing more advertisements on TV the past few days than there ever was in the past 3-4 years. The only way I found out about the Maverick was in an ad for all of the pickup trucks Ford was making and there was a photo of the Maverick in that ad, (2023) no mention of it just a photo. The newest ad that has been playing in northern WV shows both the Maverick and the Bronco Sport with some of the things they could be used. I've had mine just over 1 year and no issues so far.

I've seen TV ads too the past 3-4 months. Not dedicated to the Maverick. Just part of the dealers saying "we have plenty of stock to choose from including x, y, z, Maverick, etc. with some visible in the background.

I've been seeing the Maverick commercial with the Bronco Sport for the last 3 days. First Maverick commercials I've ever seen. They're pitching them as their most affordable vehicles starting at under $30k. I guess supply finally caught up to demand.

place I work at does the advertisements etc radio/tv for the ford dealers, they pay $$ big bucks. havnt seen any maverick specific, but I been seeing tons of F150 flyers request. must want them gone

I thought supply might catch up with demand in CY 2022.
Then I was sure supply would catch up with demand in CY 2023.
The I was sell-the-farm positive supply would catch up with demand in CY 2024.

I've now wagered my house on the betting markets that supply will catch up with demand in CY 2025.

Just in case I'm wrong again, anybody got a spare room for a fellow Maverick owner?

I hit a deer in my Honda Fit in November 2024 and it was a total loss. I'd been eyeing Mavericks for a while and knew if Toyota didn't come out with a hybrid Taco, I would be headed to the Blue Oval (my wife is a dedicated Ford driver). Since they didn't, I started Googling dealers for Hybrids on the lot in Lariat trim since I wanted ACC. Turns out there were quite a few. One salesman I talked to attributed it to financial uncertainty resulting from the upcoming election. I found the only one in the area that did NOT have a sunroof since I couldn't justify an extra $995 for an option I didn't want. Am very pleased with my purchase so far and had no problem with supply shortage. Under a Trump/Musk economy, I don't see any way production can keep up with demand. F-150 buyers aren't switching to Mavericks, but SUV owners who want a bed will be the main source of buyers, I'm guessing.

When the Maverick came out I was not impressed by the look of it but when Ford sent me the pic of the 2025 Maverick Lariat head on I instantly loved it and had one ordered 22 hours later. To this day I have seen just one commercial (same commercial 3 times - guy who needs a bathroom stop) and I watch quite a bit of TV.

I have yet to see a Maverick commercial on TV, or anywhere else for that matter. All I ever see is F 150 commercials. I don't get it---Ford never advertised their cars either. They built some very good sedans, but you would have never known anything about them. The Crown Vic, Mercury Marquis, Fusion and Taurus received zero press and they wondered why sales went away. When I think back about the 2011 Ranger, it was much the same. We only sell F 150's.

What do you mean?

Prices are going up 25% and inflation is going to go through the roof.

Demand will be down.

Haven't seen any Maverick ads but then I don't watch much TV. Stream and bypass ads.

But my YouTube!!! Still no Maverick ads but even second ad is from Ford flogging the F150 Lighting and the (it isn't really a) Mustang Mach E.

The Maverick ads I see are all fot accessories I looked for on Amazon. I don't need a second tonneau!

Im trying to think and I dont watch a lot of TV id say less than 4 hours a day total but i dont think ive ever seen a Maverick specific ad.

I have seen Ford ads but they are just general ones... come down se our inventory types.. shows a bunch of different Fords.. last one was Broncos(full size and the little one), F150, Maverick, Ranger and the Explorer were what was shown in quick clips of them all..
