I've had mine for almost a year and a half and the only real issue that I had was getting the AWD/4WD powertrain malfunction fault. The vehicle was still driveable but I was afraid to push it to its limits after that. I drove it very conservatively until I made an appointment to get it looked it as well as the airbag recall. It was all to do with software and the dealer either replaced the ECM or just eliminated any fault codes. Ever since, it's been fine. Even the time before this it's been fantastic. The best aspect is how comfortable it is to drive whether it be long distance or around town. If I had to buy it again I would.

2022 Velocity Blue XLT Lux. 9600 miles. Received last July. August last year, check engine light came on. Was leaking coolant in the HV battery cooling system. Should have been a quick fix, but th part was back ordered. Got my truck back 3 weeks later.

Then, 2 Saturdays ago, started getting the message saying features were disabled to preserve 12v battery. Died along the road. Ended up being the 300A fuse in the DCDC converter from the TSB. Got the truck back in 3 days, mostly waiting for the part. I will say the dealer service department went above and beyond. The supplier, 25 miles away, just wasn’t shipping the part. After 2 mornings of promised delivery but no part, the put a person in a vehicle and they went and got it.

Still, all in all, I like my truck.
May I ask what the process was for the dealer identifying the 300A fuse? The reason I ask is that I've had an endless 12V battery drain and after 3 service visits and close to 20+ days in the shop....I can't get my dealer to look into the 300A fuse TSB because they "don't see a code for it yet". So all they've done is replace my original 12V battery - which didn't make a difference and the problem was back in 48 hours.

I've been living with a battery maintainer + a solar panel maintainer until I can figure out what to do next. I'm taking it this Saturday to a different Ford dealership in hopes they might be more helpful. Thanks for any advice you can provide - cheers!

At 780 miles the DC/DC Converter took a header and left me stranded on the side of I-71 in Louisville. Then a deep sleep problem until about 3900 miles. The dealer and some Ford technicians did a brainstorm session on the deep sleep and so far it has been perfect. I'm now at about 5000 miles. Oh, I did have a deer shoot out of the woods and spear me in the side, but that doesn't really count. Anyhow, that's fixed now too.
May I ask if you know what the Ford techs did during their brainstorm on the deep sleep? I have a parasitic draw on my 12V and after multiple visits to my (unhelpful) dealer I've yet to get them to look into much at all. I've asked for the 300A TSB recall to be looked at + the DC/DC converter issue = but because they "don't see a code for it" they told me their hands are tied and there's nothing they can do.

I think the poll would be more meaningful if you separated hybrids and EB into two categories and then a total of both. Just a suggestion!! 🤔 🤔 :)
I thought of that after I set it up but really I don’t expect there is a large difference between the two models. Right now about 10% have had issues and doesn’t look like one is way more problematic than the other. Based on the model below the user name.

A year and a half! Hybrid shows a lifetime 43 MPG, real world is 41. Disappointed with the brake TSB not having any effect, and I also had the airbag recall attended to. Dealer called me when parts were available for both.

It is a great vehicle, fun to drive (except when creeping to a stoplight) and no issues that stopped me from using the truck when I wanted to use it.

17 months, 26k miles, hybrid Lariat Lux and no issues until the airbag recall and then a couple human errors. Engine light came on yesterday but it’s a sensor issue. Thoroughly happy!

Survey should have been separated between Hybrid and EcoBoost.
If I see a big disparity based on model listed with user name then a deep dive may be in order. Right now at least in the comments the issues seem to be fairly evenly spread out between the two models.

Just checking the club's experience so far. Have you had to sideline your Maverick? Or are you Happily driving it every day? Please give a brief description of the issue that sidelined you.

Remember you can change your vote later if things change.

Right now, eight of the nine owners reporting a problem are hybrid owners.
That is pushing 90 percent; seems to be quite a difference. 🤔 🤔 🤔

So what ended being the issue? Right now since it's been less than a week they are pushing hard to roll back the purchase.
It needed the exhaust and muffler system replaced.

I have been driving my Maverick for 18 months now. The only issues are 2 recalls--4k hitched needed a software update and the airbag recall which has not been completed yet.

So far, 93 with NO problems and 9 with some. 10.33% issues only.

There have been 123,600 Mavericks built in the US since 2021. So, 12,360 with at least a minor issue that has prevented temporary usage (or worse) if you extrapolate this data.

I am very happy so far. However to be fair I have only logged over 2k on the vehicle. LOL It's a new vehicle what do you expect.😊 What impressed me the most was the way it handled on deep sand that's precisely why I purchased the Tremor option. The locking differential is the ticket. My Blazer did well on the beach however the Maverick was much smoother. Must be those good old computers doing there thing. I'll get back to you in another 15,000 miles.
