I hope not as I message the person.
Just joking around. They have people reading every one of these posts and know all issues. Now they want to know how they can help. Ford should have their own Comedy Show.

Let us know if they actually gave you any help or satisfaction.

My order was June 29 and built, but still waiting for delivery.

Well I can answer that one, generally 2-4 weeks after it's built. The question to ask is when will your truck get built? Unless of course you already have a build date then you have a good idea of when it will happen.

Of course, even though I have my build date (this week), these last few days have been the hardest. Waiting for something from Ford to confirm my truck is built. Then I can get serious about the process of deciding if I want to use my Mazda B-3000 as a trade in or mess with selling it locally.

You are right. I should have said when will my truck get built? I was hoping for the Ford official account to answer my question.

Great News! Ford emailed me this morning to tell me my Maverick is built! :) It is "supposed" to be delivered to my dealer between 6 and 12 April. I'll be taking my Mazda B3000 over to the dealer in the next few days to get a confirmed trade-in offer and then decide if I want to trade it in or sell it locally.

Hello,

This person opened a case with the "New Vehicle Support Team for further review (NVST) and I got a case number, whatever that means, but besides that I haven't heard anything else. The funny thing is that the person asked me for my VIN number so he can help, LMAO because many of us haven't received that!

As many of you know I have been very vocal about the fact my July 5th order still hasn't received a build date yet. Week after week I've been passed over for one reason or another, yet week after week I've seen others who ordered weeks or even months after I did receive build dates. Of course many of those who received dates have different orders than I do. However, it's the orders with the exact same items, XLT Hybrid, Lux package (now with DIBL), 360 and rear sliding window, it's those orders that give me grief. As a reminder ordering for the Maverick opened in June so there are many who ordered ahead of me that also haven't received a build date yet either. I've reached out to @Ford Motor Company here on the MTC to ask for help. It took just over 2 weeks to receive a reply from them. They stated they opened a case with the New Vehicle Support Team (NVST) and gave me a case number. That was on Feb 2nd and I still haven't heard from the NVST nor do I have anyway to contact them and find out more information. Another MTC member remined me that someone on MTC had reached out to Ford upper management about their experience and was contact by the office of the Chief Customer Experience Officer, Elena Ford. That member related their experience and received a build date a week later. Did writing to Chief Customer Experience Officer help? There's no way to tell.
Anyway, I decide that I would take my gripes about my experience and share them with the top of Ford's Customer relations. I wrote a long email to each of the people I've listed below explaining what I expected when I ordered my Maverick and what I have actually experienced in the 7+ months that I have been waiting. I wrote an slightly different letter to each person spelling out my thoughts on the allocation system currently being used and how it appears to reward certain dealerships over others, regardless of when the order was placed. I do not expect to hear back from any of the people I wrote to, nor do I expect to magically receive a build date. I wrote because I felt I needed to express my displeasure with a system that I was unaware when I placed my order and having since becoming aware of it realize how faulty and biased it is. I am hoping in someway to my letters reach the people I sent them to and they will take the time to look into the current system and make changes for the positive.
I'm waiting like everyone else (Longer than many, less than some), but I want to point out a business fact some of you might have overlooked in the rush to tar-and-feather Ford and the allocation system.

Different dealers have different business models. Mainly high volume vs low volume. A high volume dealership needs high volume inventory to survive economically. A small volume dealership doesn't. The high volume dealership typically (not always) depends of secret volume incentives from the OEM just to keep the lights on (all the self declared well-educated consumers are typically blissfully ignorant of these volume incentive programs, which are between the OEM and the dealers).

So you were the third person in line to order your Maverick at a small volume dealership, and almost a year later you're pissed to see tens of thousands of people stepping around the USA stepping in front of you. And you're watching certain dealerships game the system with special deals to load up on allocation. I get it. Doesn't seem fair.

But Ford isn't being evil here. Your dealer is. Your dealer is the one who committed the sin of omission by not telling you "Glad you ordered day 2. Too bad our dealership took 60 orders on day 1 and has an allocation of 4 Mavericks each month." (disclosure - my dealership refuses to tell me where I am in line - they wiggle out of that question like a worm evading a hook).

Ford respects the allocation system because if they didn't, they'd literally put their critical high volume dealers out of business. Those dealerships hired staff, build facilities, and borrowed money that can only be paid back with volume. And remember it's not just Maverick. Ford ships those volume dealerships product because they sell LOTS of everything Ford builds. Volume dealers keep Ford in business just as much as Ford keeps volume dealers in business.

OK, so I'll admit maybe Ford is being a little bit evil. They could have at least put a big boldface message on your order kind of like we do for cigarettes... "WARNING. ORDERING A MAVERICK MAY GIVE YOU A STROKE OR HEART ATTACK AS YOU STRESS OUT FOR THE NEXT YEAR WATCHING OTHER PEOPLE JUMP THE LINE TO TAKE YOUR TRUCK".
I ordered in June. Hybrid with spray in liner & copilot 360.. order was confirmed. heard nothing ..so I removed spray-in liner in October--- called the 800# and dealer about once a month --no news. then in late Feb I had the co-pilot removed. Called the 800# shortly after that. Was told that they were starting to shift to filling more preorders and less to dealer stock. Also that orders from big dealerships got more attention than those from small ones (I ordered from a very small dealer). Also I asked what would happen if my order did not get filled for the 2022 year. She said that the base price would be honored but the options may be more. She also said that I could reorder the 2 options and that the orders carried over to 2023 would get priority.

I received the same reply about opening up a case the NVST and given a case number. It never went anywhere! There was no contact from the NVST and no way for me to contact them. I even reached back to the Ford Motor Company "member" here on MTC about not receiving any contact and THEY never replied back either! That's what pushed me to write directly to Ford Corp HQ.

I too wrote a post on my frustrations with this ordering process. All a customer can ask for is transparency. I would have expected email updates to the customers providing details on the delays and production holds. I told my dealer the other day - if I would have known that the timeline was this long - I would have not ordered the vehicle. Ford knows that they have mis-lead the public on the estimated delivery dates promised given to dealers last year, yet they not taken steps to make and/or win back they people who have orders pending for +250 days.

Now we are facing increased loan rates that will the consumer additional monies in interest fees over the course of their auto loans.
