Maybe this is why the California DMV rejected this plate?

It's sad that the Texas Department of Transportation spends more on Maverick advertising than Ford itself. There are no commercials advertising the Maverick. The Bronco, Bronco Sport, F-150, absolutely, but when it comes to the Maverick, nothin'.....
Why advertise? Do they need to advertise?

The end of the commercial would say "order a 2023 Maverick today!"

With a display at the bottom of the screen: "*your Maverick may not arrive till 2084."

Why do advertisements when you already out sold your expectations for free

I don't know. I just figured since they heavily advertise on everything else, why not include the Maverick, even if they did outsell their expectations for free? I feel like the Maverick gets overlooked when it comes to advertising. It's a hidden secret for people in the know but it maybe for the better since allocations stopped almost half a year ago so there's no point in advertising for something people can't have. I only mention this because other vehicles that Ford can't build enough of such as the full-size Bronco, Bronco Sport, Mustang Mach-E and F-150 Lightning all get heavily advertised when they're in the same predicament as the Maverick.

I had a 2006 Dodge Magnum. The Magnumswere made 2005-2008. Dodge advertised them the first year and then it was like nothing. Many people didn't even know about them or the fact that you could get them with AWD. I had a 2006 for about 4-1/2 years. Several times people would come up to me and ask "what is that?"

Honestly everywhere I go at least one person will approach me about the Maverick. One guy actually called my salesman right there while looking at my Maverick to find out when he can order one, he fell in love with it. Traffic lights I’m always getting asked if I like it and how does it drive is it comfortable. I should be drawing a salary from Ford
