I'm thinking the biggest problem for this young man was the Area 51 color. If the Maverick had been a cactus gray, the patrolman would have been checking out the cool color and not noticed the speeding.

This is silly - everyone knows Cruise Control is not available on a XL. I think this is Ford’s fault.

It's sad that the Texas Department of Transportation spends more on Maverick advertising than Ford itself. There are no commercials advertising the Maverick. The Bronco, Bronco Sport, F-150, absolutely, but when it comes to the Maverick, nothin'.....

Well, they can't build enough Bronco Sports, Broncos, F-150s, or Mustang Mach-Es either but they still advertise the crap out of them. One more wouldn't hurt.
