The production for the Maverick could be 800 trucks a day? However it is on the same production line as the Bronco. My truck is number 80,100 or so hybrid make. At best it would take 100 days of perfect production plus delivery. That would make it by the end of the year in a perfect world. But, more than likely it will take twice as long making it before March 2022. That give me time to consider other products in the mean time?

Your assumption that you are 80,100 in line is not exactly correct. that number is the amount of reservations, not orders. Its likely the actual number of orders is closer to 35k-40k. in either case, I would not expect to see any recent orders delivered another 4-5 months.

These threads are pointless. All speculation at this point. Production just started two weeks ago and we don't even know at what volume they're kicking these out, nor does that really matter because production WILL ramp up over time in the coming weeks/months. They don't start right up at 800 units per day. The reality is that you'll get it when you get it, but it definitely won't take until March 2022.

My first question is where did you get the number 80,100 from?
Second, where does 800 per day come from?

But I totally agree with @22Mav. It's all speculation since production just started. It's always slow rolling at the beginning so in my opinion 800 is a dream at this point in time. Do I want my Maverick, heck yeah! Am I in a hurry, not really. I purposely went down to one vehicle to save money as the need for two doesn't really exist. It is only a convenience for me. So it gets here when it gets here. And while I'm waiting I'm saving money on car insurance and fuel.

With Ford's production stats on the Bronco Sport @ Hermosillo. You can see they cranked out 18,414 Bronco Sports in March. Assuming 23 production days, that is quite literally ~800 per day. But that could be full capacity and the BS was the only vehicle being produced there at this time.
Ford Maverick Maverick daily production could be 800 units / day? 1630172758750

We can sit around and speculate build capacity and how many Mavericks to Bronco Sports will be built but the truth is we won't know until after the fact and the numbers are out. We might as well start discussing the ratio of unicorns to leprechauns.

Just keeping it real with production. They will start out under 100 with one shift or two shifts the first couple of days. Even here in Jeep country, Toledo OHIO, the plant produces under 1500 vehicles a day with two vehicles. I am not throwing out unrealistic numbers. They would be lucky to produce 150,000 the first year? This is without any issues.

But where did you get that 80,100 number from? I haven't seen anything like that on my DORA so that is why I'm asking.

From my unscientific search of the spread sheet here by date and VIN numbers:

Week of 10/4 #08211=#9495= 1284 units

Week of 10/11 #9414 - #11405 = 1991 units

Week of 10/18 #11901 - #13857 = 1956 units

Of course some do not enter VIN# and I may have scrolled past some. Plus I have no way of know the exact start the end number, only what I can see on the spread sheet. But at 2000 per week and 100,000 orders , well that is 50 weeks!

2000/40 hrs. is 50 per hour which is a reasonable number for an assemble line.

Yes just keeping it real. Most people want their vehicle yesterday. They think they are going through a fast food drive thru.. They can not handle he truth or reality. I believe 80,000 is realistic the first year... There will be more delays in chips and hiccups in the transmission hybrid combo.. Plus they come off the same platform as the bronco.. They make more money off the Bronco overall than the Maverick... My business sense says go with the profitable product..

There is not 100,000 orders, probably less than half that. They had 100K reservations, not orders. Also this is a new vehicle start up, just because they do 2000 per week early on, dont mean that is capacity. Google search online says the Hermisillo plant capacity is 300K units per year or 25K per month. They build Maverick and Bronco Sport, if split evenly that is 150K each or 12500 per month, that is 3125 mavericks per week approximately. If they have 50000 orders, that is 16 weeks, which means by the time they get to full capacity they would be able to put mavericks on the dealer lots and have all orders shipped by spring, unless supply issues or other problem occur.

From scheduling info on site, Bronco Sport was to have been 'closed out' last week or previous, or at least none were scheduled for production 'real soon now'. Assuming the same production line for Sport and Maverick, that would possibly open the line to increase Maverick production. As a guess.
I did get a VIN last week, and the last digits included letters that I can't translate into any sort of production numbers, unless they do not plan on having more than 99,999 built in the 2022 MY. Ain't enough digits.
How are you all getting serials? To indicate number of units built?

Saying 2000 one line , one shift. Adding a second line or shift would double the number produced.

But of course that also depends on the supply chain being up to speed, if they can not get enough parts there is no second anything

That could be maximum line production but nowhere close to planned output. They plan on building 2700 total for the month of November and 4900 in December

For December Ford is shooting for 4900 Maverick builds.

That works out to be 158 a day over the 31 days in December.
