Maverick Camper Build Progress

I’m just posting my Maverick camper build progress. I finally put it in the bed of the truck and it fits! I just have to finish sewing and a few other things but it’s starting to come together. It folds to about 2 1/2” in thickness so that you can still use the bed when not in use.

I see you've put a lot of time, effort and money into this. What you've done looks great. What's the plan from here, if I may ask? I'm guessing maybe canvas in the front closest to the cab to seal that end. Whatcha going to do on the tailgate?

Yes there will be a zippered fabric enclosure for the front and back ends of the camper.

The smaller of the two camper pieces allows for the camper to slide forward to give enough room for you to fully extend and lay down when the tailgate is down, while still protecting you from the elements by allowing you to reposition the back face enclosure so that it fills the space in between the two pieces with fabric. The extra fabric will extend up to the middle Velcro strip in the inside of the camper. See attached for the fabric.

Cool. This reminds me of a shed company in CT that would bring a folded building to your site on a flatbed. They'd unfold a finished 30x12 building in 20 minutes.
