I know this is kind of off topic, but you mentioned it. Could you please post some photos of your chipping paint? I have a Cyber Orange Mav coming soon and I would like to know where the chipping is occurring and how bad it is after 50K miles. Thank You!
First off, let me say I love Cyber Orange. I love my Maverick. I have virtually no complaints about it. Except for the chipping paint. The hood is definitely the worst. I highly recommend getting clear protective wrap up front. Or at least a bug deflector.

I want to stress that I do not drive down gravel roads hardly at all. 99.9% of my 50k miles has been on asphalt/concrete. I do not tailgate people. They don't salt the roads around here and only about one storm a year sand the roads. See pictures below (click to enlarge).

There are more. However, there are none in the side mirrors and less in the front plastic bumper. And the ones in the plastic bumper are much smaller and more like what you would expect. This is definitely a paint on metal issue.

All this being said, I would definitely buy my little orange rig again. Same color. But I would definitely get the protective wrap up front. I use Meguiar's Hybrid Ceramic wax. It seems to help a little.

Thank You! I will be sure to get a bug deflector on there right away.
I did a ceramic/graphene coat & mud flaps on my Atlas blue Maverick the first week. I have not taken on any road trips yet, only around town driving (about 900 miles so far). The blue AWD will be going by by when my CO Hybrid gets here. Thanks again for the insight ✌
