I let my wife borrow the Maverick this week since her decked out FWD Pacifica has a flat. Rather than limit her to 50Mph on the donut, I decided to loan her the truck because I have the luxury of working from home.

No she didn’t scratch it, break it, nor ruin anything for that matter. The problem is….She doesn’t want her minivan back!!!

Wife: “I can’t believe this is a truck! It drives and handles so well and I feel so confident in it. It drove like there wasn’t even any snow on the ground…and since you work from home, I think I want to use your truck from now on.”

Just wait until 2023 orders open up. Put your name down and wait 11 months for it to come in. And Voila, the Mrs. will have a new Maverick about 18 months from now.

Put a deposit down on a 2023 model is a solution.

I think you meant to say the “MR. will have a new truck 18 months from now” 🙃

Hey RobChills, it's your manager/VP at that one company we both work at, gonna have to ask you to start coming in again. We're also gonna have to ask you to bring an open-bedded vehicle, so if you had a Pacifica or something that's not gonna work. It'll make sense when you get here.

Thanks for all you do, expect a pizza party!

True bro right there. Now the OP just needs to email this to himself or better yet, his wife

The order of operations as a married man; Order new Maverick, wait for new Maverick, receive new Maverick, get stuck driving the older minivan...

At least with my current car now being a manual, my wife can't drive it anyway. She doesn't like trucks but the Maverick is probably small enough for her to feel confident in. At least if she does claim it, her daily driver is a new Mustang so aside from me being stuck putting gas in that, I guess I wouldn't mind the switch...
