Hello,
Just got my oil change/tire rotation at around 6k miles at Bellevue Autionation Ford. The service was free because of FordPass points, but the bill said it would have been $150 which seems really high. Anyone know the costs of this service for other Eastside dealers (e.g. Kirkland...
Saw all of the owner's responses to the google reviews. A lot of words there without any actual explanation how they came to assume the OP didn't want their custom ordered vehicle anymore without even contacting them before deciding to sell it to someone else.
@Ford Motor Company Please also look at Titus Will Ford in Tacoma thread for a customer who says they had a custom ordered vehicle that was sold to someone else. This somehow has got to stop.
Not sure if it was you or @bgn who's posts I saw but I remember searching for positive interactions with MSRP no markup dealers so I went with Bowen Scarff too. Still no build date but at least I can hopefully sleep easy I won't get screwed over.
I just saw a post in the main thread saying that Titus-Will in Tacoma sold someone's custom order out from under them! This story about gave me a heart attack. Thank god I didn't order from them but it still give me an uneasy feeling until I actually have the truck in my hands.
Well that makes me feel good/hopeful! I ordered end of December: Ecoboost AWD XLT with just a full size spare. Initially I got excited seeing January forum orders get magically scheduled right away, but now reality has set in. I have until the end of the year until I really need it so just...
Thanks for update. I went with Bowen Scarff since a few people had mentioned good experiences with them. Never thought to check how high volume a dealer they were and where I would be in the potential allocation pool for their dealership. Fingers crossed.
Take both. Keep whichever one you like after comparing directly. You will likely make a tiny profit selling the one you don't want, even after considering taxes and title given the insane car market.
Just wait until 2023 orders open up. Put your name down and wait 11 months for it to come in. And Voila, the Mrs. will have a new Maverick about 18 months from now.
I wonder what happens if they don't build your 2022. When you have to reorder a 2023 model, I bet Ford isn't sophisticated enough to remember your virtual place in line. It could be a reset of super long waits for those yet again?
In a recent thread the full size spare wasn't listed on the constraint items:
