Had never heard of side mirrors that dim! Cool! You are right, the side mirrors catch a LOT of bright lights and not much to do about that. I will sometimes readjust the side mirrors so I don't get as much of those headlights, but then, it is sometimes hard to change lanes without a clear picture/adjustment.
Not sure about the Euro spec Mach-E but on the North American spec HL control is located on the driver side visor not the mirror.
What’s BS is my 20 year old Benz, my fun car, had all of these features. They were new at the time, options, and high-ticket luxury items. Now it’s trickled down and even basic KIA’s have these options. So when I intentionally buy the highest trim spec and I can’t even option some of these things. I’m picky. If you’re not gonna have vented seats in the lariat, make them perforated so I’m not sweating on the vinyleather stuff. Give me a tinted mirror, I’ll pay for it because I drive at night and it’s worth it to me. But no, they just keep raising the price. My original hybrid XLT Maverick was $27K OTD. My 25 Lariat was right at $40K. Totally defeats the idea of the Maverick. I had a lariat Lightning for a few years, it was well appointed. Yet the Lariat Maverick doesn’t have half the features.
Owned a 2002 Lincoln LS it was a great car. When it reached 70,000 miles decided to trade it for a Crown Vic always regretted that.
