I just installed these Window Vents. I use the term "install" loosely because these just slid in like a glove. Great if you have pets, want the fresh air or even keeping rain out!
Another hit from Mabett!
I can't wait to try another one of their products!

I too have them and it’s better piece of mind vs putting the windows down. Open the rear window and it lets in lots of air.

I agree. Small price to pay for piece of mind. We'll said!
A bit noisy at highway speeds and the mesh can whine. But great at lower speeds and of course while parked.
Just remove the mesh and that get rid of the excess noise. Still much quieter than opening the windows...

🤓🤔 But if you remove the mesh, it will let bugs get in.

Even if you don't have pets, these are rather obvious additions and may make ne'er-do-wells avoid your ride for fear of 'waking the dog'.

That’s a very interesting way of looking at it.

The noise is the results of driving fast, hence removing them would solve that. Bugs wouldn't come in when driving fast...
:ROFLMAO: Nobody drives fast all the time. Think about while you’re parked and at night.

I have had mine installed for the last month and very happy with the product. I plan to leave them in place until the Fall.
I don’t find wind noise too bad even at highway speeds, although I may have a higher tolerance since I enjoy window open driving at any speed.

I don't consider myself a "ne'er-do-well," but I have been employed in the past in a role that required me to think like one... And when I see this, I see an entry point into the vehicle that I can probably thwart with a much less-obvious noise than smashing a window.

In any case, in my climate, those vents wouldn't do much to stop the cab temperature from creating an Easy-Bake Oven. YMMV...

Exactly. Vents or cracking windows a bit does little to stop radiant heat from raising the temp of the objects in the cab, in a parked vehicle in the sun.

What helps more, is ceramic window film. It doesn't even have to be a dark tint. They usually block over half (or more) of the radiant heat gain from the sun.
